InStyle Turns 15, Celebrating With Triple Gatefold Cover

InStyle has unveiled its bumper 15th birthday edition, featuring a first-ever triple-gatefold cover: three-time InStyle cover star Miranda Kerr leads a cast of Aussie female talents including Bella Heathcote, Isabel Lucas, Grace Huang, Maddison Brown, Sarah Snook, Teresa Palmer, Abby Earl, Madeleine Madden, Courtney Eaton, Yael Stone, Jessica Gomes, Isabella Manfredi, Maia Mitchell, Olivia DeJonge and Meg Mac.

“InStyle has a great history of celebrating local and emerging talent so what better way to honour a milestone than to bring together the next generation of stars?” said InStyle editor at the time, Kirsten Galliott, who recently left to edit the Qantas publications. “It was a huge effort but all of our cover stars were on board from the get-go, even though that meant juggling their schedules, racking up the frequent flyer miles and, in Teresa Palmer’s case, bringing her baby on set.

“When InStyle first launched in Australia in 2000, it changed the face of traditional fashion magazines,” added Galliott. “We took readers inside the wardrobes of celebrities, spoke to their make-up artists and described in detail how our readers could get the look, too. At the time, InStyle was the only magazine to regularly feature celebrities on the cover. It’s a very different world now and Hollywood stars dominate newsstands but this month we’re thrilled to celebrate our birthday by shining a light on Australia’s own impressive talents across the fields of acting, fashion and music.”
