Infographic: The Cost Of Image Theft In Advertising

A new study has found that 64 per cent of professionals have had their images stolen over 200 times by everyone from unwitting social media users to commercial businesses, including advertisers and marketers.

The study, by US firm Nowsourcing, found that bloggers and social media users are most likely to be guilty of image theft. While the advertising industry hasn’t got a particularly clean slate either.

Nowsourcing has put all the research from the study into the handy infographic below. However, B&T does advise it comes from the perspective of the US market.
