Indy Khabra has been promoted to Managing Director of Amnet ANZ.

Prior to joining Dentsu Aegis Network, he worked in various digital leadership roles within programmatic across multiple markets.

Paul Brooks, president of Dentsu Aegis Network’s specialist investment and media management arm Amplifi ANZ said: “I am delighted that Indy has accepted the opportunity to lead our group’s programmatic offering and build on his achievements to date as GM.

“In the last three months we have been working with the flagship brands within Dentsu Aegis Network on our programmatic roadmap and the central role that it will play on delivering our 2020 ambitions. Having the right talent to lead our group’s programmatic vision was critical, and we have that in Indy.

“It is not just his proven and experienced background but his ambition, passion and charisma that are the qualities that make him stand out from his peers. Given the importance of this role we took our time ensuring that we had alignment on our vision. Indy is the ideal candidate to lead Amnet into an exciting new period for Dentsu Aegis Network, with the full support of the global team to deliver what is required for our clients across ANZ.”

Khabra said of his appointment: “It is a fantastic opportunity and I’m excited to take on the role of Managing Director at Amnet ANZ.

“I am passionate about all things programmatic and within Amnet, am part of a strong culture with a team that is truly leading the world in terms of innovation and product evolution. It’s a pleasure working with this brilliant group within the agency and the wider Dentsu Aegis Network. I’m focused on leading Amnet throughout Australia and New Zealand at this exciting time in digital.”

Whilst maintaining its specialist brand identity, Amnet forms one of the four key specialist entities within Amplifi. Indy’s appointment follows the recent global acquisition of Accordant by Dentsu Aegis Network to accelerate programmatic capabilities in the rapidly developing area of data-led programmatic buying.
