Allibon was part of the SWM executive team and was responsible for negotiating Amber Harrison’s exit after her affair with Seven CEO Tim Worner became public.

The Australian has reported Allibon left quietly just before Christmas and only days before Harrison went public with the affair. Allibon has reportedly taken a new role at Newcrest Mining and The Oz is reporting she was “headhunted” for the new role.

(Please note B&T has updated this story). A representative of Seven has contacted B&T to confirm Allibon’s leaving had nothing to with any ongoing HR matters at the network. “In fact, she was headhunted late last year and her departure had nothing to do with them. She will be missed at Seven,” the spokesman said.

Allibon’s name appeared a number of times on documents Harrison tendered to the Human Rights Commission in her wrongful dismissal claim against SWM. Allibon also negotiated the deal with another Seven employee, Amy Taeuber, who claimed she’d been bullied, called a lesbian and falsely dismissed.

On Friday, Seven also reached an agreement with Weekend Sunrise reporter Talitha Cummins who claimed she’d been sacked from her presenter role while on maternity leave.
