Holy Moly! Take A Look At The First Women In Media Entrant For 2018!

We thought we’d seen it all, but this Women in Media Awards entrant has surpassed our expectations – by being the first to enter just 30 minutes after the entry gates opened!

So a massive congrats to Jocelyn Hunter from Bench PR – this is a new record!

Obviously, Hunter entered the PR category, and yes, it was within just half an hour of the launch of B&T‘s annual event.

If you haven’t entered, what’re you waiting for? You can’t be the first to enter, but you can definitely avoid being the last (and avoid all that last-minute panic of not submitting your entry now).

Yes, the 2018 Women in Media Awards are still a few months away, but competition is fierce for this event – so get started on your entries now to make them the best they can be.

Running for the sixth consecutive year and presented by the lovely Bauer Media Group yet again, B&T‘s Women in Media Awards will recognise exceptional women who’ve achieved astronomical success in the media and communications industry.

These inspiring women are all around us – leading, innovating and mentoring the next generation. These awards will celebrate that leadership and innovation, and the resulting invaluable contributions they have made to this industry and their own professional arenas. To get started on your (definitely award-winning) entry, click right here.

You can enter in more than one category, but make sure you double check as there’s been even more categories added this year (making 21 in total), plus a few changes.

The on-time deadline for entries is 5pm AEST on Friday 15 June 2018. Late entries are accepted until 5pm AEST on Friday 22 June 2018. We know that sounds like a little while away now, but before you know it you’ll be scrambling with your late entry, trust us.

So enter now! You can’t beat Jocelyn Hunter’s record until next year, but you can still win this year.

The Women in Media Awards and accompanying gala dinner will be held on Friday 17 August 2018 at Doltone House – Jones Bay Wharf.

Grab early bird tickets here if you don’t want to miss out!
