Hausmann Picks Up Mattel and Helga’s

Public relations agency Hausmann Communications, part of the Hausmann Group, has added two new clients to its roster of consumer brands.

Melbourne-based Mattel has appointed Hausmann to take on PR responsibilities for its portfolio of market leading toy brands, while Hausmann is now also managing the PR and social media strategy for Goodman Fielder’s biggest bread brand Helga’s.

Pedro DeMartini, Mattel’s marketing director ANZ comments: “We had made the strategic choice to centralise our PR efforts with one agency. The combination of Hausmann’s big brand experience, strong consumer understanding and proven track record made the agency a stand out choice for the needs of our business. I look forward to working with the team at Hausmann to take our public relations to the next level in the coming months.”

Catherine Tan, marketing director, Baking at Goodman Fielder, cited the agency’s strategic and creative talents as the driving force behind choosing Hausmann. “A number of people on my team, including myself, have worked with Hausmann in other roles. I have always been impressed with the agency’s thinking and clever creative solutions. I’m delighted to have them onboard as our new agency partner.”

Katrina Brangwin, managing director of the Hausmann Group, adds: “As an agency, we have a reputation for long-term relationships with our clients. So it’s always exciting when we get to work with former clients like Pedro and Catherine on new brands and business challenges. We’re really looking forward to jumping in, rolling up our sleeves and getting to work!”
