GroupM Opens Its Doors To The Next Generation

GroupM is opening its doors to the next generation as part of its M Grad program this year.

The brand new Open Days programme is a new way of opening up the business to curious and excited grads who might not even know what a media agency does.

Each of GroupM’s agencies have a different flavour and the Open Days are the perfect opportunity for applicants to learn about a career in media.

They’ll meet our senior execs, hear from past M Grads about their on-the-job experience, and learn from industry experts about the future of media and technology.

The Open Days will be hosted at GroupM’s Sydney campus on 7 June, and in Melbourne on 21 June. Registrations are open now with a few spots remaining. Registrations can be reached here.

The M Grad programme is designed to give grads a real-world introduction to media fundamentals and includes media theory and practice on the job and in training sessions.

Every year, GroupM hires around 20 of the best graduates and offers them a full-time job in one of its agencies.

The successful applicants get to dive straight into agency life from day one of their careers with GroupM. It’s the first step in a programme of continuous learning.

mPlatform account executive M Grad alumni Elizabeth Tsang said, “The M Grad programme was a much-needed introductory session into the world of Media.

“University doesn’t always cover everything, so to be taken through the ins and outs of Media was really helpful in preparing us for a path into the industry.”

Applications are open until 8 August 2018 and the programme starts 1 February 2019.
