Grant Denyer Lands New TV Hosting Gig At Ten

Nearly a month after revealing Ten would be resting Family Feud, host Grant Denyer has been chosen to run proceedings on the TV network’s replacement game show.

Denyer will host Game of Games, a family entertainment series based on the US show of the same name, which is hosted and produced by talk show queen Ellen GeGeneres.

The local version of Game of Games will be produced by Warner Bros Australia, and will see contestants pulled directly from the audience and challenged to manoeuvre massive obstacles, answer questions under pressure and face gigantic plunges into the unknown – all for the chance to win a big, juicy cash prize.

Ten’s chief content officer, Beverley McGarvey, said: “We are delighted that Grant Denyer has agreed to host Game of Games. He is the perfect person to lead a show that is packed full of big fun, big physical entertainment, big laughs, and big cash prizes.”

Commenting on his new gig, Denyer said: “Ellen is an idol of mine, so to land this opportunity makes me so excited I’m dizzy!

Game of Games is a smash hit in America. It’s wildly fun and something completely brand new and different for Australia. I can’t wait to step on set and run amuck with this.”

Game of Games will air on Ten later this year.
