Grant Denyer Forced To Explain Groin Touch Cock-Up

Gold Logie winner and media personality Grant Denyer has been forced to apologise after the former Family Fued host was caught touching his groin in a recent 2DayFM commercial.

In the original ad featuring Denyer and his Sydney breakfast co-hosts Em Rusciano and Ed Kavalee, Denyer clutches his groin momentarily while laughing.

The ad, which spruiks the station’s Secret Sound competition, has since been reshot to omit the groin-touching scene, though that didn’t stop his co-hosts bringing it up during the show yesterday morning.

Talking about the incident Denyer said: “I looked up and our ad was on the tele and I noticed right in the middle of the ad I do a rather large groin readjustment.

Rusciano added: “Your junk goes from left to right!”

“Like a full ‘pick up the package and shift it to the other side of the body’ whilst we’re talking in the ad,” Denyer said.

Rusciano then asked: “If you ever did this on FamilyFeud would they have pulled you up?”

With Denyer replying: “Yes! That’s where it happened, I’ve been told this before.

“Someone told me that I must have some sort of concentration tick where I’m thinking and my hands tapping away,” he said.

Rusciano then asked: “So you’ve been pulled up whilst filming Family Feud for tapping your wang?”

“Yep. So I had a process that when we would start the game I would go around behind the podium where people would hit the buzzers, I would get the adjustment done out of the way with the cover of the podium,” Denyer added.

The groin chat was later posted on the station’s Instagram page.
