Sydney design and production studio ZSpace has announced the appointment of Glenn Christensen (pictured above, middle) as its new creative director.

Christensen joins ZSpace from M&C Saatchi, where he worked as a senior art director. Prior to that, he held roles at The White Agency and TBWA.

Chritensen’s appointment coincides with ZSpace’s brand relaunch, which includes a new identity, new website, new work and new VR team.

The new VR team is spearheaded by Christensen, senior digital producer Simon Hodgson (pictured above, left) and senior unity developer Jon Kafkaris (pictured above, right).

To prove their chops, they have created a real estate VR platform for browsing and personalising apartments off the plan, which has already taken the interest of real estate developers.

ZSpace co-founder and executive producer Tim Jardine said: “We need to keep evolving, and so VR/AR/MR will be a highly significant part of our future, and as such, we’ve created a dedicated VR team.”

Christensen added: “It makes sense for us to be playing in VR, as it perfectly complements ZSpace’s already strong offering of animation, 3D and production, allowing our team to both hone their skills while broadening others outside their disciplines.”
