G-Star Raw Cements Presence In Australia

International denim brand G-Star RAW, whose stores were previously operated by Denim Enterprises Pty Ltd in a franchise partnership, has proceeded to take over 15 of the existing stores.

This follows Denim Enterprises Pty Ltd announcement in February of its decision to enter into voluntary administration

The Australian G-Star stores will continue to operate as usual, ensuring that the Australian consumer can continue to shop their favourite denim brand.

“G-Star and Australia have a special history together. Australia was one of the first international markets to embrace the brand. We have a strong and long relationship with the Australian consumer and we intend to continue to offer them great jeans,” stated Stefano di Martino, president geographies and sales for G-Star RAW.

“With a local Australian-based G-Star team, we will invest in the best stores in key retail locations as well as in our current multi-brand partners who have passionately sustained our brand in the Australian market already for many years.”
