Foxtel’s Real Housewives Trailer: Brawls, Black Eyes & Catastrophic Cattiness!

Thought Arena’s Real Housewives Of Sydney took reality TV to a new low? Well, it appears the Melbourne version is out to set a new low watermark judging by a just-released trailer for the show’s launch in early December.

The trailer, released by Foxtel yesterday, is for season four of Real Housewives Of Melbourne and shows the originals – Gina, Janet and Jackie – are all back, including two new housewives.

The minute-long tailer shows the Melbournites at their fighting, swearing catty best and includes claims of adultery – “When someone fucks my best mate, I don’t do that (calm down)” – and finishes with poor Janet sporting a swollen, blackened face. Check out the calamity below:

The trailer also introduces two new recruits to this year’s series – Sally Bloomfield, and Venus Behbahani-Clark after Pettifleur Berenger and Susie Mclean chose not to return for the fourth series.

On meeting the other ladies for the first time, Bloomfield enquires: “What planet have I landed on?” To which the irrepressible Gina responds: “You’ve come into this group, and whoever you think you are, I’m not interested.”

The fourth series of Real Housewives Of Melbourne premiers on Arena on December the 6th.
