FFA’s Jacqui Hoban Joins Southern Cross Austereo As Head Of Events

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced it has poached Football Federation Australia’s (FFA’s) Jacqui Hoban to be the radio network’s head of events.

Hoban will take on the newly-created role at the end of February, working across marketing and content, sales, The Studio and promotions to drive and execute a national events strategy.

She brings over 15 years’ experience in delivering a variety of local, national and international events, and joins SCA from the peak industry body for soccer in Australia – the FFA – where she was head of events since 2007.

SCA’s chief creative officer, Guy Dobson, said the network is fortunate to have recruited an executive of Hoban’s calibre.

“Her depth of experience and expertise to lead our events strategy and execution is a wonderful addition to the SCA team,” he said.
