Facebook Launches 2016 Facebook Awards With All Mobile Entry Process

Facebook has opened the submission doors for the 2016 Facebook Awards. The Awards celebrate the best creative work being shared on the platform.

This time, the entire entry and judging process will be all mobile.

Leo Burnett and Proctor & Gamble took the top honours in the Facebook Awards last year with their ‘Like a Girl’ campaign for Always.

With the inundation of entries from all over the globe last year, Facebook has decided to internationalise the Awards this year, meaning more work from more countries have a chance to take home an honour.

Further to that, Facebook will recognise small business advertisers who have nabbed solid results, as well as updating various categories.

The 2015 Facebook Awards had 2700 submissions from more than 160 countries. There were 111 shortlisted campaigns and 86 overall winners.
