Facebook has bolstered its media agency relationships team with the announcement of two new senior hires that hold more than 23 years’ experience in the marketing and advertising industry.

Carolyn Bollaci and Thomas Hosking (pictured above) have joined the Facebook team as agency relationship leads.

Bollaci joins Facebook to head up relationships with WPP following an extensive career in the marketing and advertising industry as Innovid’s managing director for the Asia-Pacific region and as Sizmek’s regional vice president for Australia for New Zealand.

Hosking will head up relationships with IPG and Publicis, and joins Facebook following senior content marketing roles at FOX SPORTS Australia and Society Social.

Facebook’s head of agency partnerships for Australia and New Zealand, Ellie Rogers said: “Media and creative agencies are at the centre of our world, and we see agencies success intrinsically linked to our own.

“With more focus on collaboration with this critical community, I am delighted we can bulk up our teams with absolute agency rock stars like Carolyn and Tom.”

Commenting on his appointment, Bollaci said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Facebook team, a company focused [on] partnerships to drive outcomes. As the media landscape continues to evolve, it is exciting to be on the forefront of innovation.”

Hosking said: “I have spent most of my career at agencies. I am excited to put the shoe on the other foot and bring my ideas on partnership to life.”
