Facebook’s Audience Network Is Open For Business

Facebook has announced its new Audience Network is open for business.

The Audience Network was designed to help publishers and developers to monetise their mobile apps by showing Facebook ads to their users.

A key part of the Audience Network offering is native ads, which Facebook says give the publisher the control to design the perfect ad units for their app.

IGN, a popular destination for video game and film content, has been part of the Facebook Audience Network alpha and beta since April of this year, when the Audience Network was first introduced.

Facebook has chosen IGN to feature in the announcement and used the IGN native ad as an example.

IGN has 20 editions in 15 languages across 92 countries, generating over 55m unique visitors each month.
