Entries Open For 2015 PANPA Advertising & Marketing Awards

Entries for the PANPA Advertising & Marketing Awards are open from today for member publishers from around the Asia-Pacific region.

Last year, The Newspaper Works combined its annual Ad Awards with the Marketing category of the Newspaper of the Year awards, and category segmentation now occurs by readership, as defined by emma.

The Advertising & Marketing Awards seek to recognise and celebrate advertising and marketing campaigns used by the publishing industry.

The Newspaper Works chief executive Mark Hollands said: “The Advertising & Marketing Awards reflect newspaper media across all platforms. The categories and criteria are based on readership rather than circulation, illustrating the industry’s transformation to a balance of print and digital assets.

“These awards allow us to recognise the outstanding talent and work that is reshaping how the newspaper industry markets and sells itself to readers, advertisers and media agencies.”

The Advertising categories recognise publishers’ in-house work only, while both agency and in-house executions are eligible for the Marketing categories.

Entries for the 2015 Advertising & Marketing Awards close May 22nd and finalists will be announced on July 1st. Winners will be announced on Thursday September 10th, at a cocktail event at the Zeta Bar at Sydney’s Hilton Hotel at the end of day one of the Future Forum.

Entries for the Newspaper of the Year Awards will open on May 25thwith finalists announced on August 12th. Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner on September 11th at the Hilton Hotel.

For the first time, the awards have been opened up to the members of the Country Press Association.
