Domino’s UK Debuts On Snapchat With Hilarious Alien-Abduction Video

The British chain of pizza company Domino’s has opened up its channel on Snapchat with a two minute long video about the perseverance of a delivery guy to deliver the pizza, despite aliens trying to suck him up into their spaceship.

The ad follows the trail of a Domino’s delivery guy, cooking the pizza and stepping outside to the street.

However, little did he know an alien invasion was about to happen! As he watches his Domino’s scooter get zapped up, he charges ahead with the order, finally coming to a house where the residents are aliens themselves.

It’s pretty funny. And you can watch it here.

The ad, Dough to Door, was created by agency Iris, according to Marketing Mag in the UK, and will stay on the pizza chain’s channel for the next 24 hours.

And apparently there’s a hidden code in there for those in the UK who fancy a bargain slice.

Snapchat has been one area in recent times getting a lot of interest from brands.

The image vanishing app has been touted as the next big thing for travel brands, and even saw The White House recently sign up an account.

At the end of November last year, US publication Digiday claimed it was beginning to woo ad agencies, particularly as the brand now seems to be relatively open to ads.
