Digital Creative Tackles Love And Snapchat Pornography In New Sex Ed Book

Row Murray, an agency-side digital creative, has released ‘For Foxes’ Sake’, a sex education book for teenage girls living in the Snapchat era.

‘For Foxes’ Sake’ tackles topics such as sex, love and relationships for young teenage girls, with particular recognition of the fact that online porn, cyber bullying, sexting and Snapchat are a big part of daily reality for teenagers.

The #FFS campaign explores everything from anal sex, online bullying, and sexual peer pressure, to body confidence, sexting, porn, BDSM, fisting and more.

“These are hugely challenging topics and they are front-and-centre for teenagers, with almost a third of internet traffic being online porn,” author Row Murray said.

“The sex-ed landscape has changed in the last five years and we need to balance fiction with fact so teenagers are making great decisions about their relationships and sex in the moment. Snapchat and Instagram didn’t exist five years ago, sexting and revenge porn is now a thing, and teenage girls are under pressure. This book cracks open the reality and keeps it real.”

‘For Foxes’ Sake’ has launched on Amazon and iBooks and in its first week was an Amazon Top Three Hot New Release.

A balanced blend of cheeky advice, true stories and hard research, ‘For Foxes’ Sake’ has been written in conjunction with subject matter experts, including a GP and Pharmacist, references peak bodies, and cites over 70 studies, bringing on Bridget Emmerson of The Creative Bridge as art director and Felicity Whelan of Glue Content for digital video production services.

Murray has worked for agencies including GREY, Thinktank Social, Publicity Works, Sphere Agency and Carrspace, and was digital marketing manager at Priceline and 7-Eleven. This is her first book.
