Dentsu Aegis Network Partners With Social News Agency Storyful

Dentsu has partnered with Storyful in Australia, the social news agency that was recently acquired by News Corp. The Storyful team will work as an extension of The Story Lab, providing them with access to licensed and culturally relevant content that can be integrated into clients’ social and content marketing campaigns.

The Story Lab is the specialist content business within the Dentsu Aegis Network that provides innovative content solutions that drive new value and connections between brands and audiences.

Richard Chapman, managing director of Storylab said: “This is an exciting partnership for The Story Lab as it provides us with access to a proprietary technology to unearth quality user-generated content at scale. This content can then be utilised by brands across all broadcast, display and social platforms to drive engagement and results and is the perfect extension to our offering.”

Denstu Aegis Network has also launched Enjin, a dedicated Mobile unit and academy within the Group. Enjin will facilitate the growth of mobile expenditures across Dentsu’s network by identifying opportunities in relation to mobile advertising and marketing.

Paul Brooks, manging director of group investment & partnerships at Amplifi said: “We already have mobile capability within the agencies, Enjin is about equipping and organising ourselves to deliver a best in market offering for Dentsu Aegis clients. As our clients shift more into mobile media and marketing, we are focused on providing solutions that help brands scale and drive the right impact.  Mobile advertising is set to grow exponentially and with Enjin, we are well equipped to help our clients in the mobile environment.”
