Dentsu Aegis Network Launches Specialist Government Solutions Division

Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has launched a new division providing specialism and expertise in Government marketing and communications in Australia.

Based in Canberra, DAN Government Solutions will leverage the extensive power of the Network nationally to deliver strategic outcomes for Federal, State and Local Government clients across the country focused on opportunities outside the scope of MAMS agreements.

DAN Government Solutions will be led by industry veteran Nick Swifte, who will relocate from Melbourne to Canberra.

Swifte has worked with DAN for more than 20 years, most recently as Head of Investment for Dentsu X.

DAN ANZ CEO Simon Ryan said: “As a Network we have many years’ experience working with Government clients, including Australian, Victorian and West Australian Governments.

“We’re very pleased to strengthen our presence in Canberra and invest in providing a dedicated team to service Government clients.”

“The Government sector has a unique set of requirements, and our understanding of the needs of Government is second to none in Australia.

“Having a dedicated division, led and staffed by some of the industry’s most experienced and renowned Government specialists, will allow Government clients to tap into a unique pool of capability, resource and expertise.”

DAN head of government solutions Nick Swifte said: “Having worked with Government clients for many years, we appreciate the complex and unique nature of delivering Government work.

“DAN’s dedication to providing specialist expertise on Government communications is a real point of difference in Australia.

“Our brands such as Dentsu X, Isobar, Cox Inall Change and Columbus have worked extensively across so many facets of Government communications over the years – from media to social to PR and more – that the opportunity to bring all these skills together, in a relevant and tailored way, with complete transparency, is truly exciting.”
