Dentsu Aegis Network Expands NZ Strategy Team

Dentsu Aegis Network has announced the promotion Jacquie Bennett (pictured above, right) to the newly-created role of group head of strategy for its New Zealand operations.

With a career spanning 15 years in advertising, including 10 within strategy roles, Bennett joined Carat as strategy director in 2014.

In her new role as group head of strategy, Bennett will join the Dentsu Aegis Network NZ leadership team with the responsibility of providing strategic direction for clients and influencing change and collaboration across the company.

Robert Harvey, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network NZ, said: “As our group continues to grow and evolve, it is a well-deserved and natural next step for Jacquie to be promoted into this role.

“I love having Jacquie in our business. She is super-smart and highly collaborative, and I know she will continue to add great value to our group and clients in the years to come.”

Joining Bennett on Dentsu Aegis’ NZ strategic team is Ryan Jordan (pictured above, left) as strategy director. Jordan previously worked Contagion as strategic planning director, and prior to that, he held the role of communications strategist at Ikon Communications Sydney.

Bennet said she was thrilled to have Jordan as a new addition to Dentsu Aegis’ strategy team.

“He has a unique skill set in his ability to work across both media and creative strategy, and will add a huge amount of value across the group,” she said.

“The Dentsu Aegis Network has experienced great momentum in the past 12 months, and it has been exciting and a privilege to shape a strategy product around that growth.”

Commenting on his new role, Jordan said: “I’m extremely excited to join Rob, Jacs and the rest of the Dentsu Aegis Network.

“With its vision for expansion, coupled with the opportunity to have a clearly-defined role in the new integrated strategy department, it’s something I’m chomping at the bit to be a part of.”
