Dead Dinosaur Stops London Traffic In National Geographic Promo

National Geographic has pulled a giant dinosaur shaped stunt to promote its ‘T-Rex autopsy’ programme airing in coming days.

A dead T-Rex, around 15 metres long, was strapped to a flatbed truck partially covered by a blood-spattered sheet. The dinosaur was driven past and around such landmarks as Parliament House, London Bridge and Buckingham Palace.

Though probably not the strangest thing Londoners have ever seen. The Twittersphere still had a field day:
