DDB Melbourne Group Rapt To Be Gaining Momentum With New Client Win

RAPP, part of the DDB Group Melbourne, has announced that it has won the Momentum Energy account in a competitive pitch.

David Brown and Darren Spiller manage the DDB Group Melbourne portfolio of businesses including RAPP, Mango, Tribal, DDB Shop, DDB, DDB Remedy and the newly acquired Lifelounge. Brown confirmed the win, saying that, “Momentum Energy came in through RAPP but we’ll be drawing on the expertise of all of our specialist offerings to give Momentum the best brand solution possible.

“We’re a relatively large agency in Melbourne but the objective with Momentum, and all of our clients, is to keep the agency agile. We pull together the resources that we need across the business to create bespoke teams that best suit the clients needs.”

Spiller said, “Research provided overwhelming feedback that clients want a seamless business solution. They’re tired of managing separate agencies with competing agendas, so we’ve made it our priority to ensure that the best combination of talent from each of our specialist business units come together based on the specific business challenge. When the right people come together, great things happen.

“Our vision is to be Australia’s most-loved agency, producing work that people love for brands that people love – created by an agency of people who love working together. You could say, ‘We make love’.”

Momentum Energy is part of Hydro Tasmania, an Aussie clean energy business. Hydro Tasmania is the largest producer of renewable energy in Australia – generating hydro and wind power – and the nation’s largest water manager. It is owned by the State of Tasmania and has been at the forefront of clean energy innovation for more than 100 years. Easy to love that.
