The Daylight Agency’s significant growth has continued with the appointment of Shelley Hammond as Director of Agency Operations.

Shelley is a leader in the global communications industry and brings vast experience following senior roles in major corporates as well as the agency environment.

Shelley will be responsible for the commercial running of Daylight including client retention and growth, employee development and overall management of the team of 20 plus.

Shelley joins Daylight from leading cosmetics and skincare direct selling company Younique, where she held the role of Vice President Australia and New Zealand.

Shelley was integral in building the US-based brand in ANZ, leading the market through a period of significant business transformation and directing the ongoing communications to the 6,000+ sales field.

Prior to this Shelley was the global head of content and External Messaging for Telstra where she oversaw the content, digital and public relations function for Telstra’s international enterprise business.

As part of her remit, Shelley restructured the global public relations function to deliver a more efficient media outreach performance and content hub.

Shelley also held the role of senior marketing communications manager for Isentia, managing the integrated
marketing, creative, communications, events, public relations and brand function for the global operations out of the Australian headquarters.

Additionally, Shelley has just returned from Barcelona where she again attended the 2018 AMEC (International Association of Measurement and Evaluation of Communication) Summit.

Shelley has judged the AMEC Awards, recognising excellence in global communications and evaluation, building upon her depth of knowledge on the latest developments in campaign measurement internationally.

Daylight Agency MD Chris Gray welcomes Shelley and her experienced background.

“This year has been transformational for Daylight and the addition of Shelley to our team is the icing on the cake. She brings a dynamic charisma to our team and her leadership skills are second to none.

“On top of this, her experience in corporate communications globally will be invaluable to our clients and staff
members.”

Shelley is thrilled to be on board and sees her new senior role at Daylight Agency as a pinnacle in her career. “I am ultimately motivated by smart people doing brilliant things and when you meet the team at Daylight you are surrounded by this energy every day.

“It was an easy choice to join this growing agency and be part of a team who are authentic, world-class operators delivering impactful business results for their clients through meaningful work.”

The agency is a one stop communication hub offering advertising, digital and social, marketing, public relations and reputation management.
