Daily Mail To Challenge Ten On Injunction Over Bachelorette Spoilers

The finale of The Bachelorette on Ten aired last night, however the ending was spoiled by the Daily Mail who posted photos of Sam Frost and the winner hours before the final episode aired.

When the story with the photos was posted yesterday, Ten was undoubtedly pissed off and allegedly issued an injunction against the publishing company to have the story and the photos removed.

However this morning the Daily Mail has published an article saying it will challenge the court appeal.

A spokesperson for the Daily Mail said: “We were served with an injunction by Network Ten, but we have not had sight of the reasons for the judge’s decision.

“We swiftly abided by the terms of the injunction, however, but shall be challenging the terms of that injunction immediately as we do not consider that such a decision is either fair or right.”

The article also says the publishing company cannot describe the photos or say what was in them.

Network Ten said in a statement: “Network Ten is looking at its options in seeking relief, including costs and a permanent injunction. As the matter is back before the court on Monday, we will not be making any further comment.”
