The photos have been released of Australian Marketing Institute’s Winners for the 2015 Marketing Awards for Excellence to a sell-out event of 300 guests in Melbourne.

The Australian Marketing Institute Awards for Marketing Excellence are one of the most prestigious events on the Australian marketing calendar.

Started originally in 1982 as Hoover Marketing Awards the program recognises outstanding marketing. They have evolved in response to new developments in marketing theory and practice to reflect the growing appreciation of the critical role of marketing within organisations.

This year was the first time awards were judged on a national basis first before following the federation of the various states and territories. However, State winners and runners up will be celebrated at State events from November 17 until the 8th of December 2015.

The annual awards attracted 194 entries and more and 60 judges gave their time to arrive at the winners. For the first time in its 33 year history, the awards were judged nationally instead of on a state-by-state basis.

The special awards recognised:

Trinity P3 Future Leader Award

Gina Lednyak, founder, chief social media director and marketing strategist at L&A Social Media

Certified Practising Marketer of the Year Award

Caroline Patrick AMAMI CPM, head of strategic marketing solutions at Bendigo Adelaide Bank
