Carat Australia has been named the Number one media agency in the 2014 New Business League table, published by R3.

Conducted across 14 of the Asia Pacific’s leading media agencies, the New Business League is a market-wide monthly tally of the agencies’ new business acquisitions.

In 2014, Carat Australia added some of the largest pitched accounts to its client portfolio including the No.1 Australian advertiser Woolworths; Microsoft and Mastercard.

R3 a global marketing consultancy, is focused on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of marketers and their agencies.  R3’s methodology for the New Business League is a compilation of the most recent data supplied by 26 multinational agencies, on a monthly basis.  The report is balanced against client estimates, Nielsen ADEX (advertising expenditure data), discounted to appropriate levels and then converted to revenue estimates.

CEO of Carat Australia, Simon Ryan said: “We have worked hard with our clients to ensure our ROI on service, investment and thinking is at number one standard. Growing and employing high performing talent is key and I’m very happy that the team at Carat are building a first rate business for our fantastic clients”.

Carat’s performance in the region has also been outstanding being rated as the No.1 media agency across Asia Pacific in multiple markets.   In addition to Australia, Carat was ranked No.1 media agency in India, Japan, Thailand, Korea and Hong Kong.
