Anything from a few minutes a week to an hour two is all we are seeking – we just need people to pitch in with a bit of time!

NOW Australia has achieved a lot since it launched in March 2018.

The non-partisan not-for-profit was established in response to the global #MeToo movement, after journalist Tracey Spicer AM, asked Australians to contact her with their #MeToo stories.

Tracey received thousands of responses, from all around Australia, across industries and backgrounds.

Many expressed the shame and fear that kept them from speaking out earlier.

It brought to light horrifying levels of both harassment and retaliation for speaking up.

NOW Australia is working closely with experts in the counselling and legal sector to scope how it can help steer those currently experiencing sexual harassment, or with historical experiences of harassment, to legal and psychological support.

In the coming year, the not-for-profit expects to play a key role in informing the Australian Human Rights Commission’s National Inquiry into Sexual Harassment in Australian Workplaces – helping to ensure it delivers lasting change.

NOW Australia is seeking a team of pro bono PR agency support, to be coordinated by for-good agency Fifty Acres, to assist with positioning and their ambassadors.

PR and creative agencies interested in collaborating to support NOW Australia should contact info@fiftyacres.com.
