BWS Partners With Shopitize For Their Summer ‘Beer Bank’ Campaign

One of Australia’s largest liquor retailers partners with Shopitize. BWS has partnered with the world’s leading shoppertech mobile marketing company, Shopitize, for their Summer ‘Beer Bank’ campaign.

Having searched for a technology partner for many months, BWS discovered Shopitize after seeing how one of its liquor suppliers used the platform for their own product trialling. Using its proprietary Optical Character Recognition technology, BWS was able for the first time to offer its shoppers a digital coupon deployed in real time as a reward for buying its products.

BWS’ Beer Bank promotion rewarded literally thousands of their customers with a $5 voucher every time they bought a carton of beer. All they needed to do was take a photograph of their receipt and Shopitize’s automatic purchase verification platform did the rest.

BWS were able to seamlessly drive footfall and frequency for their stores and volume for their beer brand partners, all in real time. Their customers did not have to wait more than 30 seconds to receive a reward to their mobile phone and in the lead up to Xmas, offering their customers instant gratification was only going to enhance their experience with BWS and their partner brands.
