Bauer Media is pleased to appoint Chris Eyres to the role of sales manager for Bauer Media in Western Australia.

In his role, Eyres will oversee the day-to-day commercial success of Bauer’s brands in the Perth market, working alongside recently appointed WA digital sales representation Media Tonic and Nine Entertainment Co.’s powered to deliver first-class advertising solutions.

On the appointment, Andrea Salmon, Bauer Media’s director of sales for Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia said: “Bauer Media is excited to have Chris Eyres on board. His knowledge and relationships in the Perth market are well regarded, as too is his enthusiasm for developing great client solutions.

“His predecessor, Vikki Stacey, has set a benchmark when it comes to brand passion and rapport with clients and agencies and we are confident that Chris is the exact person to continue this approach and evolve our customer solutions in the WA market.”

Chris brings to the role more than 20 years’ experience in advertising and media management, including roles at Austereo and more recently Nine Entertainment Co. where he held the role of group business manager working across the Nine Network and alongside Mi9.

On the new role Eyres said: “I’m excited to be joining Bauer at a time of immense growth and I look forward to working closely with Media Tonic and powered to deliver Perth based clients and agencies with best in market advertising solutions.”

Eyres appointment is effective from early 2016.
