Adland’s most talented muso’s to battle it out at MAD Week

The five outstanding acts will battle it out at the MAD Week finale on Friday 1st August, to take out the title of best musical talent in adland.

From soloists to duets, trios to bands, this year’s Battle of the bands finalists have it all. 2014 finalists include: The Adjective Nouns (Leo Burnett), Piperlain (Impulse Screen Media), The JB Experience (MCN), Hayley & Svet (The Communications Council) and Danielle Belles (Videology).

Last year’s Battle of the Bands winner soloist Lisa Warinto (aka ‘hot Lisa’) from Mindshare, believes the competition is a great way to open up and keep creativity alive in the industry.

“In media you have a lot of creative people and here at Mindshare we term them ‘slashes.’ For example in the day you’re a media person but on the side you could be a photographer or DJ – so you have a ‘slashed’ job description. Battle of the Bands allows these types of people to get up and shine,” she said.

For the second year in a row, the competition will be judged not only by a line-up of music industry experts but also by voting on social media.

Check out the videos below and vote now for who you want to take out the title, by ‘liking’ or ‘sharing’ your favourite finalist’s YouTube video.
