One of the stars of Ten’s new reality dating series, Bachelor in Paradise, has lifted the lid on the stringent intimacy guidelines contestants had to follow while on set.

Speaking to Hit105’s Stav, Abby & Matt this morning, Laurina Fleure (pictured above) revealed that Bachelor in Paradise contestants had to give producers the heads up about any moves to get freaky with one another.

“Because of the drama that had actually happened on the American series, there was some really strict guidelines around anybody getting intimate,” she said.

They had to go and flag it with production and say, ‘Hey, I’m consenting’, and if anyone was caught frolicking intimately, then production had the right to burst in the door and say, ‘Are you consenting?’”

Fleure also revealed there were condoms in every contestants’ room on set, and they had to submit to a full STD check beforehand.

“That’s pretty standard. Every reality show I’ve done you’ve got to do full bloods and urines and all that, just in case, say with I’m A Celebrity, you cut yourself,” she said.

Bachelor in Paradise debuts on Sunday night at 7:30pm.
