Are You The Light Bulb In The Poop? Agency Uses Only Emojis To Advertise Intern Program

Are you the sushi amongst the pizza? The lion amongst the horses? The martini amongst the coffee?

This was the print way the Portuguese arm of media network Havas Worldwide advertised its internship program, with the only words being ‘Havas Internship Program #nowhiring”.

It appears to be an effort to appeal to Millennials, and with brands all about the emojis lately – take Samsung and Uber’s recent partnership – it seems to fitting with what a lot of others are doing.

Leo Gomez, the copywriter behind the campaign, told us the choice to use emojis in the campaign was to make it more “modern and interesting”.

“And to reach young people who use this language every day.

“The campaign was in poster in universities and subway stations near the university campus.”

Check out the print ads below, which were found on Ads of the Worldand above for how they appeared around university campuses.
