An American newsreader has remained remarkably calm as a monster spider crawled over her during a live news cross.

Fox 4Dallas reporter Shannon Murray was in the middle of a live report when all of a sudden the spider appeared from nowhere and crawled down her shoulder, down her arm and then crawled out of shot.

Murray later posted to social media that she was aware of the nasty little arachnid but decided to simply soldier on.

“For those asking, YES I felt it! But I had no idea it was a spider until a VIEWER let me know on Facebook! EEK,” she posted.

The video has since racked up close to 400,000 views with many people remarking on Murray’s incredible composure. Check it out below:
