Amber Harrison Pulls Shock Move By Hiring Legal Heavyweight For Seven Court Stoush

The bitter court case between Amber Harrison and Seven West Media was back underway this morning, with the former mistress of CEO Tim Worner recruiting high profile Queens Counsel Julian Burnside (pictured above) as her new lawyer.

Journalists attending the case at the NSW Supreme Court took to Twitter to express their shock at Harrison’s move in hiring Burnside to represent her.

Harrison’s legal team is arguing that Seven failed to provide a safe place of employment for her and her claim should be moved to the Federal Court, according to The Australian.

The argument has reportedly taken Seven’s legal team by surprise.

Last week, B&T reported that Harrison had already forked out $110,000 in legal fees from her battle with Seven and allegedly owes $330,000 more. This more than surpasses her payout, reportedly around the $400,000 mark.
