ALF Stalwart Joins NOVA For Footy Season

Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy today announced Jonathan Brown, Brisbane Lions Club champion, dual All Australian and Coleman Medalist and three time premiership player, will join the team on Mondays throughout the AFL season.

Brown said, “I’ve known Meshel for many years and Tommy’s a big footy fan so I’m looking forward to being in the Nova studio with the team. Melbourne is the home of footy so I’m really excited to be on Melbourne radio to chat about this great game.”

Meshel said, “I’ve been captained by Jonathan Brown for a decade and I’m looking forward to hitting the ice bath with him again.”

“To be honest I just want him as a friend so I thought this was a great first step,” said Tommy.

Brown joined the Brisbane Lions in 2000. In 2007 he won the Coleman medal and was made co-captain of the Brisbane Lions, before taking the captaincy in his own right in 2009.

Brown will join Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy on Mondays from 20 April to discuss the weekend’s games while Carlton’s Daisy Thomas, who recently returned to Nova 100 for his sixth year, will discuss all things AFL at the end of the week.
