AIMIA appoints new co-chair

EXCLUSIVE: Deepend’s founder and chief officer digital brand communications, Matt Griffin, has been appointed AIMIA’s co-chair of judging.

Griffin (pictured) joins Paul McCarthy, the director of strategy and innovating at SIRCA, in his new role with the digital industry’s body.

Griffin has been involved in the AIMIA judging process for over a decade at different levels, and is also executive member of the judging panel for the Webbys and the grand juror of the CRESTA Awards.

Entries for the 20th AIMIA Awards are open now until November 8.

Last year, Deepend and sister agency Nomad won 11 AIMIA awards for their WilderQuest tablet app (video below), including Best of Show.

Entries to this year’s awards from either of the co-chair’s companies will be overseen by the other co-chair.
