Carlton was convicted by jury on November 12, during his year on bail he did work for Transport NSW’s without disclosing he was on trial child sex offences. In the ads, Carlton notified commuters of the changes to CBD buses due to the light rail construction.

Transport NSW released this statement to B&T in regards to Carlton’s past work with the company:

“Mr Carlton did voiceover work for a number of CBD ads that are no longer in market.

“Transport for NSW asks all voice and visual artists to sign an agreement asking them to declare any incident that may affect Transport for NSW’s reputation, both in the past and any incident that occurs in the future.

“In this instance Mr Carlton failed in his responsibility to advise us of this court action.

“We reserve the right to take any necessary action in the result of reputational damages due to Mr Carlton’s lack of disclosure.”

When B&T searched for Andrew Carlton all of the search pages have been removed or are ‘under maintenance’. Here’s a screenshot of the searches, one article which states “if you don’t know who Andrew Carlton is, turn on commercial TV in Australia and wait a few minutes.” It should be noted that Carlton ran the Voice Over For Actors website:
