WHO scoops top prize at The Maggies for Nicole Kidman cover

WHO magazine last night took home the coveted magazine cover of the year at The Maggies.

The cover featuring Nicole Kidman as the ‘Woman in Red’ beat over 200 titles across all eleven categories to be crowned overall Magazine Cover of the Year, as well as winning the Weeklies category.

The covers entered in The Maggies were shortlisted by a panel of industry heavyweights, including Robin Parkes, executive director of Magazine Publishers Australia.

Parkes said about the winning cover: "This is an extremely impactful cover, and clearly the consumers agree. The combination of Nicole Kidman’s striking appeal with the dramatic use of colour is a real standout. Congratulations to WHO!"

B&T was a finalist in the Business & Trade category but lost out to The Walkley magazine.

Sports Winner – Surfing Life (April 2013)

Youth & Pop Culture Winner – EMPIRE (October 2012)
