Electronics brand Hitachi has appointed Vizeum its local media planning and buying agency.
The win is part of a global alignment with Hitachi working with Dentsu, the Japanese company which acquired Vizeum’s parent company Aegis Media earlier this year.
The account will be managed out of the Sydney office.
Nick Behr, general manager of Vizeum Sydney, said: “Hitachi is a fantastic brand with great heritage and we are excited to be part of this global alignment. This is a significant win for us during a time of great growth and development.”
A new local campaign, involving print, TV and digital activities, kicked off last week.
