UM has taken OMD Sydney’s head of strategy Melissa Mullins as its new strategy director in Sydney.
She currently works extensively on the Tourism Australia media account, and has also worked a lot with brands including McDonald’s across a range of TV sponsorship properties.
She will work on strategy for the newly acquired News Limited account as part of her new remit.
UM Australia’s chief strategy officer, Stefan Burford said: “Mel is a world class strategic thinker with a great track record in creating and developing big communications ideas,”
“Her passion and energy are a great fit for UM and we are looking forward to her joining the Sydney team."
UM was named B&T’s Media Agency of the Year in November.
