The figures come from the Audit Bureau of Circulations and cover year-on-year performances for monthly magazines between July and December 2012, as well as weekly magazines and newspapers for the October to December quarter.
Highlights include the rise of the health and home sectors in the monthlies, a blanket slump for the weeklies and promising digital figures for newspapers which saw more declines in print across the board (excluding The West Australian’s Saturday edition).
