The Blacklist helps Seven take the ratings

The Blacklist topped Monday evening’s entertainment offerings, coming in at third place it won the 8.30pm slot for Seven.

The American drama pulled in 1.017 million viewers for Seven, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

Seven News was the most watched show of the night with 1.172 million viewers, it beat Nine News (1.121 million) and Seven’s Today Tonight (961,000) also outperformed Nine’s A Current Affair (943,000).

The Big Bang Theory pulled in 950,000 viewers while the evening’s third episode of the sitcom was watched by 826,000.

Seven won the night with a total 29.8% share of all free-to-air viewers, with 21.9% for its main channel.

Nine followed with a combined 27.9% share and 20.6% for the network’s primary channel.

Ten came third on a total 19.8% with 12.1% for its main channel ahead of the ABC’s total 17.7%. ABC1 won 11.5%.

SBS was left a combined 4.7% share with 3.7% of that going to SBS ONE.
