Samsung Electronics Australia has teamed up with The Australian Ballet’s education program Out There for a three year partnership.

The partnership will mean The Australian Ballet is able to expand its educational programs and is set to visit 80 schools this year as part of the Out There program.

“Samsung is excited to partner with The Australian Ballet, one of the most prestigious arts organisations in this country,” Arno Lenior, chief marketing officer of Samsung Electronics Australia, said.

“We believe that technology can change our world for the better. It can open up a universe of possibilities and spark unknown passions.

“Similarly, Out There is many children’s first opportunity to experience dance as a form of artistic expression, kinetic learning and entertainment. I’m very proud to say that with Samsung’s support; Out There will be extended to reach children who wouldn’t otherwise have the chance to experience this program.”

From its beginning in 2006, Out There has seen more than 50,000 children take part in the workshops led by a team of four from Dance Education Ensemble (DEE).

Out There – The Australian Ballet in schools, brought to you by Samsung commences in January 2014.
