The double episode of the Rafters, which debuted back in August 2008, pulled in a combined audience of 2.652 million with 1.324 million viewers for the finale, according to OzTam’s preliminary ratings.

While viewers turned on Seven to see the Rafters curtain drop only 864,000 watched The Mole’s curtain raiser.

At 6.30 pm The Mole was beaten by Nine’s A Current Affair (1.208 million) and The Block Sky High with an audience of 1.292 million.

Fast-tracked drama Under the Dome won Ten a top 10 program again last night, with a confirmed audience result of 1.01 million viewers, according to Ten. OzTam’s preliminary ratings said Under the Dome won 998,000 viewers.

The 1.01 million result is slightly down on last week’s debut audience of 1.175 million.

The drama boosted Ten’s share of free-to-air viewers, with the network’s main channel taking  14.1%. Masterchef Australia was watched by 798,000 people.

Ten came third behind Nine’s 20.1% and Seven’s 25.1%.
