OMD has appointed Kim Hamilton as its new Head of Direct, replacing Tristan Bentall who recently returned to New Zealand. Hamilton has come from Optus as its Head of Families segment where she managed the Direct Acquisition business and cross-sell customer communications.
Hamilton has spent most of her career in the client side, having worked in Westpac NZ before Optus.
Hamilton said: “Moving from client to agency side is something that has interested me for a while. The strategic ingenuity and on-going innovation is a big draw card, and OMD has such a great reputation in this industry.”
OMD’s Sydney managing director Mark Jarrett said: “We are delighted to have secured Kim for this role, her industry expertise, management style, and results driven approach make her a great cultural fit for OMD and the continued evolution of our Direct offering.”
OMD was recently ranked the 39th best place to work in Australia by BRW.
