Nine was top of the ratings last night taking a combined 33.6% share of all free-to-air viewers with the help of The Block: Fans v Faves, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.

The Block: Fans v Faves was Thursday night’s most watched show with 1.372 million fans tuning in.

Nine was the only network with programs that pulled in one million viewers or more last night.

Nine beat its rival Seven from 6pm onwards last night with Nine News (1.082 million), Nine News at 6.30 (1.048 million), A Current Affair (944,000), The Block and The Footy Show (865,000) all outperforming Seven’s offerings.

Seven’s most watched show was Seven News, it sat in fourth place with 979,000 viewers.

Sevens total share of FTA viewers was 26.4%, the same share that Nine’s primary channel won alone.

Seven’s main channel was pushed below the 20% mark to 17.2%.

The ABC was in third place on a total 19.3% with 14.1% going to ABC1.

Ten sat in fourth place on a combined 15.4% and 9.8% for its main channel.

SBS won 5.3% with 4.4% going to SBS ONE.
