Nine's Tuesday night comedy line-up gained ground last night in the absence of Seven’s Winners and Losers.
The Big Bang Theory attracted 915,000 viewers to come in third on the ladder in overall numbers, while 2 Broke Girls came in eighth with 736,000.
Big Bang was only outranked by the Seven and Nine news bulletins, which brought in 1,106,000 and 1,052,000 respectively.
ABC News came in fourth on the ladder with 871,000, followed by Nine’s A Current Affair on 839,000 and Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens on 767,000.
In a fairly evenly split night, Nine came in first with a 25.5% audience share, followed by Seven on 23.8% and Ten on 22.5%. ABC secured 20.9% and SBS took 7.3%, according to the OzTam preliminary ratings report.
