New publishing structure for Pac Mags

Pacific Magazines has moved commercial director Peter Zavecz to the director of magazine role and pointed to the future announcement of a new publishing structure.

Zavecz moved into a sales focused role in June this year after Pac Mags made its head of advertising sales redundant, as revealed by B&T.

Seven West Media’ chief operating officer Nick Chan (pictured) said Zavecz’s appointment will “prioritise profit performance and new revenue streams” while leveraging “integration synergies” with other Seven West business.

The executive management team at Pacific Magazines now reports to Zavecz who reports to Chan.

There are more senior management changes to come with a new publishing structure to be announced shortly.

“Peter and I have worked together for many years and he has been a significant force in the success of the Pacific Magazines business to date. He has the experience, passion and insight to continue to take Pacific forward,” Chan said.

Zavecz said Pacific Magazines has a “sharp focus” on continues innovation.

“Whilst magazines remain the core of our business, new revenue and content opportunities for Pacific both here and internationally have never been greater,” he added.
